had dinner with a few forum kakis and new found friends here last thursday.
towards the end of the dinner, chef kang actually came into our private room to greet us.
all thanks to our makan kakis' connection, this is the first time i came so close to a chef (of a restaurant). it was indeed a wonderful dining experience.

the fed the fish with fruits only. the meat was smooth & soft.

crabby friday

ieatishootipost organised a "ieat crab fest"
on friday at chin huat seafood.
at $50 per pax we got to eat 8 different types of crabs
cooked in 8 different ways. what a good deal right.

malacca makan trip

location: malaysia, malacca
1 to 3 may 2009

it was an enjoyable trip together with friends and colleagues.
tcs drama 'little nonya' was filmed in malacca. we love to watch this drama series. hence, we wanted to retrace those places which were the filming sites and try out peranakan food, desserts and kueh kueh.
