paris cont: we found it !!

missy D wanted to eat chinese food so badly that she googled this restaurant which is "near" our hotel. but missy S was overly confident and made missy d walked one big round in the rain before reaching the restaurant. thank God we found this place and it was still open! or else...i will be roasted instead.

we got a little sick of eating bread and missed chinese food terribly.

chanced upon a chinese restaurant and we dashed in without any hesitation.

you can find quite a number of such "buffetlike" concept restaurants in paris. they are sold by "weight". you can find such concept in their supermarkets too.

(clockwise) fried noodle, stired fried black pepper beef, fried rice & mixed veggie - 20 euro

we ate in but food was still served in plastic containers as they need to be microwaved.

taste wise is between so so and good.

you can cross over the bridge and take a short 10 mins walk to this place after visiting notre dame cathedral.

eating ice cream during autumn can be heavenly.

and the taste of this ice cream is simply heavenly too.

holiday: paris and london

we have just returned from our holiday in paris and london. will start a series of our food experiences during our stay there.

here's day 1: arrived in paris on 13 sept 09. having to cope with jet lag and trying to explore the vicinity of our hotel for food, we ended up eating mc donald's !
